About
Your Stay

Camp Savuti is an intimate, tented safari camp in the Savuti Marsh area of the Chobe National Park. It’s a simple and comfortable camp, offering unforgettable game viewing opportunities and a chance to experience an authentic Chobe safari.

There are five well-appointed Meru-style tents built on raised wooden decks with private verandas facing onto the landscape beyond. The tents are set apart from each other and from the main lodge, offering a sense of privacy and peace for guests in their rooms. Each tent is subtly hidden among the bush willows, further enhancing the feeling of exclusivity in a remote location.

Tents have en-suite facilities, outdoor showers and lantern-lined pathways leading to a main area. Guests can choose to rest and relax in the privacy of their rooms while watching wildlife gather at the channel.

Bird watching and pure relaxation can be enjoyed from the quaint deck, bar, or lounge in the main area of camp. There is a swimming pool on a raised wooden deck, complete with deck chairs and a seating area. The main area at camp provides the perfect open area for socialising and relaxing.

Where To
Find Us

The Savuti is a region within the heart of the Chobe National Park that is secretly located away from the peak season crowds at the Chobe riverfront. It is the remote homeground of Camp Savuti, positioned on the banks of the dry Savuti Channel and close to the famous Savuti Marsh.

Travelling to the camp involves a light air transferfrom Maun or Kasane (depending on guests' itinerary) to the Savuti airstrip in Chobe National Park. It is an approximate 40 minute flight from either of the towns and the view from the aircraft plane over the beautiful Chobe becomes a part of the experience.

Upon arrival at Savuti airstrip, guests will be met by a representative from Camp Savuti and driven the last 20-40 minute journey to the camp. This road transfercould be considered more of a game drive, as it traverses through the Chobe National Park and there is a likely chance of spotting any number of animals before even arriving at camp.
